Swarovski’s Crystal Culture launched in 2014 under Directors Gina Silvestro and Viv Simmonds – multi international Award Winning Nail Artists – with the intent to nurture, mentor and assist Nail Artists in building their businesses by teaching retail skills and additional services to add to their treatment menus while also assisting them with troubleshooting and perfecting the salon style nails in various mediums.
Swarovski is recognized internationally and is the leading crystal product line in the world. Crystal Culture is the first worldwide nail stylist team.
Come perfect your application, learn form and art and become certified by Swarovski. You will receive genuine Swarovski nail kits and tools and training to expertly create this high end nail art. Crystal Culture certification is given at the end of your session.
Your class will be taught by Crystal Culture Stylist Hillary Fry. A Fashion Week veteran, award winning nail artist and frequent contributor as nail/beauty expert.
Cost: $195 per person.
50% deposit due with balance due before class. Deposits are non-refundable. Your spot is not confirmed until your payment has been made.
What to Bring: A desk lamp is important for this class. the tools you use in your salon to perform a polish, gel polish, gel nail and acrylic nail, including uv or led lamp and tips to keep your final product. You will need to bring just a few colors so you have variety. Notepads and pen.
You will have a chance to purchase additional kits and stones in class.

Seeing is believing! Here are the Shellac colors, from L to R:
Apply one layer of Shellac base coat to each nail/extension and cure under UV lamp
Apply two layers of Shellac UV Color Coat, cure under UV lamp
Apply one layer of Shellac UV Top Coat
Cure under UV lamp. Clean, apply cuticle oil.
Remove with Shellac Wrap. 10 minutes w/acetone, twist off, flake off, voila!
A couple of weeks ago I hosted a “Real Women Get Red Carpet Ready” party, sponsored by Dove to get word out about the new Ultimate Visibly Smooth. It was a blast! There was a beautiful spread of Mediterranean foods, sushi and salmon, fruits, sparkling waters, sodas.
And by me, I mean we, the amazing women I work with. Peggy and the stylists that stayed to show their stuff rocked the night.
When nail dust lands in the cuticle area it can ruin the manicure or nail enhancement service by adhering back onto the nail surface. The result will be a less than smooth appearance.
New security measures at Palm Beach International Airport have left workers holding their noses. It seems the requirement for passengers to remove shoes before searches meant tired, smelly feet residue permeating the security area carpet – enough to require new carpeting or tiling of the area.
As you can see, this is a three headed beast. I’m not sure which version came first, but here is how it works:

Manicurist Jackie Saulsbery prepped each set of nails using Zoya Remove + and Anchor prior to polishing with the muted mauve Charity and finishing with a topcoat of Armor. The look complimented the bruised makeup (black plum lips!) and overall moody black palette of the show.
Those stockings are oh-so-familiar. Love/Hate.
