It’s On! – Things to Remember about this Groupon Experience

Thanks for a great Groupon run and I’m excited to be seeing all of the new faces!  A few things to remember:

1) Your Groupon is good for one (1) year
It’s the holidays – an especially busy time of year.  Please register early at Schedulicity.com or use the “Schedule Now” on the Facebook fan page and look at available dates.  All scheduling originates with Schedulicity.com so you’ll need to be registered.  Unfortunately I am unable to answer the phones during services.  Schedulicity has been very well received, and leaves you free to schedule 24/7.

2) You can get on a cancellation list
If you don’t immediately see the date you are looking for, don’t panic! People have to reschedule all of the time. Register, search for a backup date and make a notation for the dates & times you prefer. Most have been accommodated, but remember – you also have an entire year to use it.

3) You are getting authentic CND Shellac
Named one of America’s Hottest Brands, this is a high shine power polish that doesn’t require any filing of the nail bed for application or any filing for removal.  As a CND educator and beauty blogger, I’ll be able to share different color options as we create the best look for you.

Happy Holidays!

Amazing French Manicure – CND Shellac

This client came in to re-Shellac, and even I couldn’t believe the results.  It had been four and a half (4.5!) weeks since I had given her a French manicure using Soft White and Negligee. She came in with one broken nail on her right index but that grew out beautifully.

I see this all of the time with color applications, but I don’t get many requests for French manicures, so it was a pleasant surprise.

How is this long wear possible? Look at the shine still on it!

Shellac is a patent-pending product combining nail polish, gel, and a new technology created by CND that blends the benefits of both to give a thin application similar to nail polish with the long lasting, high shine benefits of gel.

This formula is the only formula on the market that doesn’t require:

  • Filing of the natural nail for adhesion – CND Shellac is formulated to adhere to natural nail beds.
    • The filing required for gel nails is often overdone, resulting in nail damage.  This eliminates any potential issues from a heavy-handed tech.
  • Filing of the topcoat for removal
    • CND Shellac has tunnels that run from the top coat of the product to the base coat, allowing for an amazing 10 minute removal!
  • Taking a “break”- done correctly, application and removal does not create nail damage.
    • The above mentioned tunnels also allow for cuticle oil to penetrate all the way down to the nail bed, nourishing the entire nail and not just cuticles

If you can’t imagine life with an extended wear manicure, you have never tried CND Shellac.  Treat yourself or give this power polish treatment as the perfect stocking stuffer.  It is the most amazing nail product to come out in ages.  But you don’t have to take my word for it.  Advertising Age recently wrote up on the product as one of America’s Hottest Brands.

That mystery Fashion Week necklace has been identified!

If you were on my Facebook site around Fashion Week, you might remember me posting on this mystery necklace that was appearing seemingly EVERYWHERE.  I began to wonder if this gorgeous piece was getting handed out as party favors.  Alas, I finally found out that this is a Pegasus Necklace and it can be purchased here . The reason it was everywhere? Turns out it was pulled by Lucky Magazine and Vogue for editorial shoots, so I’m not the only one with good taste.  This is a show stopper and looks as well with a dressed up look as it does casual.  Go get yours now.

Those interested can purchase them for $45 per package and limited to 500 pieces each.

A total of 1,440 nails were cut and painted with semi-precious gemstones & swarvoski crystals applied. Each is packaged in it’s own personalized logo box with confetti packaging. Three designs were created:

”Flames”- these nails were inspired by Lady GaGa’s outfit worn to the 2002 VMA’s. Each nail was hand cut, painted and detailed with semi-precious red stones.

“Gold Objects”- filed to the perfect point, these gold painted gems are adorned with a variety of nail charms ranging from- unicorns, guns, skyscrapers, Lady Liberty to name a few.

“Black & White”- a zig zag celebration of perfection with craft fully placed gold trim and gem stones.
