She’s Got The Look – Kate Mara at Sundance Film Festival

Hairstylist Stephen Lewis shares how Solessence readers can duplicate Kate Mara’s casual locks for Sundance using Leonor Greyl:

“Kate Mara wanted to wear a hat but I applied some Serum de Soie Sublimateur to her dry hair and worked it in. I then ran a blow dryer through her hair to give it volume and a tussled look. I finished the look with Eclat Natural on my fingertips and she was ready to go!”

She’s Got The Look – Catherine Keener at Sundance Film Festival

catherinekeener_sundance2010
Catherine Keener kept it loose and casual for her Friday arrival at Sundance. Hairstylist Stephen Lewis worked on her look for both day and night, and gives us the breakdown on how Solessence readers can achieve the same look:

1. Lightly spritz hair with water and apply Leonor Greyl Serum de Soie Sublimateur, working it in.
2. Dry hair and apply a small amount of Eclat Naturel on the ends.

For the evening look (not pictured):

“I applied Serum de Soie Sublimateaur to her wet hair and then blow-dried it with a large round brush. I then applied Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice to the crown of her head for volume. I finished the look with Eclat Naturel. A little goes a long way and makes the hair look very polished.”

It’s all about product, product, product. Leonor Greyl is the brand Madonna travels with on tour.

blueswarovskiclippers
All mitts are off when you present Mom with this treasure from pre-dotbomb days.  Blue, White, Pink, even initials are available.   But why stop there?

Aristabrat offers a complete collection for $299, which includes clippers, pacifier and rattle.  A cheap knockoff of the real diamond set Brangelina received?  Perhaps.  But it isn’t nice to look a gift horse in the mouth.
