Something Blue: Color Trend for 2010
What’s hot for 2010? Cool Turquoise.
Pantone, those responsible for the color charts and worldwide color trend, has selected PANTONE® 15-5519 Turquoise to rule for 2010.
Because of its versatility, Turquoise is a great accent color in jewelry, purses, shoes, hair accessories and even nail polish for women, and ties, shirts and sportswear for men. ~Pantone
One of the prettiest turquoises I have found is available at Sally Beauty. Unfortunately, the color photographs a little too Robin Blue – it is pretty true to the blue green tones above. A rich creme with a very high shine, it is very flattering on a broad spectrum of skin tones. Try it, you’ll like it!
Turquoise and brown is one of my favorite color combinations. There are many ways to play up this color that is meant to uplift spirits after the dour economy we’ve had. The beautiful color “represents escape” – one of the reasons it was selected by Pantone.
