Estee Lauder Cos Inc will be closing down all distribution of the Prescriptives line by the end of January 2010.
Launched in 1979, the line is sold in five countries and had a definite with some crossover. Estee Lauder still maintains the Clinque, Bobbi Brown and MAC lines.
The upside to the news for fans of the 30 year old line is that now is the time to stock up. Prescriptives is offering specials and general sales of product on their website until inventory runs out. Any questions or concerns? They’ve also set up a toll free number: 1-877-819-2968

Heather Park, gracious PR rep and sistah with some killah pipes (she’s already had a song included for a movie soundtrack and second cd coming out soon) gets some major recognition overseas with VOGUE UK. They follow her revolving looks for fashion week, and highlight on her Calgels from Sakura. Hot. Hot. Hot. Make sure you visit her site to see the latest look (my favorite is her rendition of the Baby Phat smoky eye). Congrats Heather!

Stylists, get it together! Two mega-media hounds again in the same outfit. See who they are.

Who wore it better? Redheads clash at Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week in New York when they came face to face in the same outfit. Julia Allison and Housewives Jill Zarin. I am loving Julia’s shoes.

They are a sight to behold: jeweled colors and patterns, swaying and sashaying down the runway. Thick, synthetic textures calling out for sleepy heads to WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE! This is serious business, and The Snuggie is out to take the fashion world by storm (via the privacy of your own home).
Yes, that half comforter/half Tibetan monk garb thing the Snuggie makes a fashion debut at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Head to your nearest Walgreen’s to pick up a few from the kid line as well.
