Review: Corioliss Classic Pro Flat Iron 1″ & Giveaway
An economical entry to flat ironing
Misikko asked me to review their highly rated entry flatiron this summer, so when I didn’t receive it I thought it a little curious, but it happens. Lo and behold, the box (and a few others) were lost – for two months. We started working the tresses right away…
We tested the Corioliss on a client with shoulder length virgin hair that was “pool hair” – that shiny, doll look you get from a summer of chlorine. The flatiron had no problems heating up and left her hair smooth and shiny with a single pass.
The Good:
- Attractive design
- Sturdy plates
- Heats to 410*, worked quickly
If you have very Curly Hair:
- Weight: This is not as light as a high end pro iron. For someone with very kinky curls, or hair that is resistant to straightening this could be a little heavy because it always takes longer to do your own hair.
This flatiron retails on the website for $89.99 at the time of this review and is best for someone with straight or mildly wavy/curly hair, looking to get an inexpensive but quality flatiron.

I need it so that I could give it to my daughter as a gift. Since her hair is long and the weight helps keep the curl out, something like this would be just right to finish the straightening.
Both of my daughters are competitive swimmers & can really use this! Their hair is wavy (and damaged) – this would help them straighten their hair without damaging it more!
I would love to win this because my hair is frizzy and would look much better with a professional straightner, but it isn’t something I’d ever budget for myself.

The flat iron would be for my daughter. She is about to turn 13 and has taken a sudden interest in her hair. It now has to be perfect. I bought her a (cheap) flat iron….well we all know that cheap flat irons do not work well. I would love to be able to give her a GOOD flat iron for her birthday or Christmas.

I have never had a full sized flat iron. I have a mini travel one, but it takes a long time to get my hair done with it. As I’ve gotten older, I have one patch of hair that’s frizzy, just on the front right side of my head. Is that weird or what? I could really use this flat iron to get it under control.
The only time I’ve ever had my hair flat ironed was at the hairdressers….I loved the look, but just haven’t been able to afford one, so I’d love to win this one…seems perfect for a beginner like me!
